Chrono Trigger is a classic JRPG, and one I've somehow never managed to get around to playing. I'm glad I finally did - it's an excellent game and a hallmark of the genre.
Uncharted 3 is objective a good game. It keeps all the series hallmarks in place - a fun treasure hunting plot, charming characters, and good enough gunplay. Despite that, I like the second game better.
Ys: Memories of Celceta is the second game in the series that uses the party system, released before Ys 8. It's a fun game, and well worth playing for Ys fans, but if you started the series with 8, this one may take a little adjusting.
We've talked about the "bump" Ys game, and we've talked about the modern 3D party games. Ys Origin utilizes a third gameplay type - 2D hack and slash. This game is unique as it's the only one where you don't play as series protagonist Adol.
Yakuza 3 is the continuation of Kiryu's story, and some fans may be disappointed with this one. It's a great game, but Yakuza 3 (and 4 and 5) are upscaled ports of PS3 games, not full-blown remakes like the Kiwami games.
